Pelaku berjumlah dua orang dan berhasil ditangkap pada Senin (19/9/2022) Sekitar Pukul 17.00 Wib saat hendak beraksi di bank ATM BNI di Jalan Yos Sudarso, Kelurahan Majapahit, Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Timur 2, Kota Lubuklinggau, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.
Kedua tersangka yakni Bustomi, 49 tahun, dagang, warga Jalan Tembok Raya, RT III, Kelurahan Nanbalimo, Kecamatan Tanjung Harapan, Sawah Lunto, Provinsi Sumatera Barat.
Satu tersangka lagi Bambang Irawan, 57 tahun, buruh, warga Jalan Sapta Marga, Gang H Harun Alin Pasar Hewan, RT III, Kelurahan Talang Rimbo Lama, Kecamatan Curup Tengah, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu.
“Tersangka Bustomi merupakan residivis dalam kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba. Sedangkan Bambang residivis kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba dan penipuan modus hipnotis,” kata Kapolres Lubuklinggau, AKBP Harisandi melalui Kasat Reskrim, AKP Robi Sugara.
Kedua tersangka menurut Kasat Reskrim, selama beraksi sering berpindah-pindah mencari lokasi ATM. Mereka beraksi di Kota Lubuklinggau dan Curup Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, Provinsi Bengkulu.
“Kedua tersangka mengaku sudah tiga kali melakukan aksi ganjal ATM di Kota Lubuklinggau dan berhasil mengambil uang korban sebanyak satu kali,” ungkap Kasat Reskrim.
Adapun korbannya yakni Lilis Suryani, 40 tahun, warga Jalan Mangga III, Blok A7, Kelurahan Nikan Jaya, Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Timur I, Kota Lubuklinggau.
Saat itu korban hendak mengambil uang di ATM BNI di Jalan Yos Sudarso, Kelurajan Majapahit, Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Timur I (depan RM Singgalang Jaya) pada Sabtu (17/9/2022) Sekitar Pukul 19.00 Wib.
“Tiba-tiba kartu ATM korban tidak bisa digunakan karena seperti terganjal dan tidak bisa dikeluarkan,” ujar Kasat Reskrim.
Kemudian datang salah seorang laki-laki yang merupakan pelaku menawarkan bantuan untuk mengeluarkan kartu ATM milik korban yang terganjal. Seorang pelaku lagi mengawasi dari luar, memantau situasi sekeliling mesin ATM tanpa diketahui.
“Tanpa sepengetahuan korban kartu ATM-nya ditukar oleh pelaku dengan kartu ATM BNI lain yang sudah dibawa dan dipersiapkan sebelumnya yang menyerupai kartu ATM milik korban,” bebernya.
Setelah itu korban disuruh memasukan kartu yang diberikan tadi ke ATM. Dan pelaku mengintip nomor PIN kartu ATM milik korban. Lalu pelaku keluar dari mesin ATM dengan membawa sejumlah uang dalam ATM milik korban. Atas kejadian yang dialaminya itu, korban melapor ke Polres Lubuklinggau untuk ditindaklanjuti.
Kemudian laporan ditindaklanjuti Tim Macan Satreskrim Polres Lubuklinggau. Dilakukan observasi dan survillance terhadap para pelaku. Sehingga pada Senin (19/9/2022) Sekitar Pukul 17.00 Win didapati informasi aktivitas dua orang yang gerak geriknya mencurihakan dalam ruangan mesin ATM BNI di Jalan Yos Sudarso, Kelurahan Majapahit, Kecamatan Lubuklinggau Timur II.
“Gerak gerik mereka terlihat sedang mengerjakan sesuatu dan men-setting mesin ATM agar bisa mengganjal kartu ATM dengan menggunakan tusuk gigi jenis kayu,” timpalnya.
Atas informasi tersebut, Tim Macan yang dipimpin Kasat Reskrim AKP Robi Sugara didampingi Kanit Pidum Ipda Jemmy Amin Gumayel langsung bergerak cepat menuju lokasi ATM BNI. Dan langsung melakukan penangkapan terhadap kedua orang tersangka.
“Keduanya berhasil diamankan saat sedang melakukan upaya mengganjal tempat slot masuk kartu ATM dengan menggunakan tusuk gigi jenis kayu,” terang Kasat Reskrim.
Kedua tersangka mengakui jika sebelumnya pernah melakukan hal yg sama dan berhasil mengambil uang dengan kartu ATM milik orang lain.
Selanjutnya tersangka berikut dengan barang bukti dibawa dan diamankan ke Polres Lubuklinggai untuk pemeriksaan secara intensif. Barang bukti yang diamankan 30 lembar kartu ATM dari berbagai bank, uang tunai Rp70.000, satu lembar kartu ATM BNi milik korban Lilis, pakaian tersangka dan tusuk gigi jenis kayu.
